A Business Plan is a document that combines all the key elements describing an IP Solution Project, and hence it is needed for a Go or No Go decision. Typically a Business Plan will include:
- Explaination on what the IP Solution is and what Market opportunity it addresses
- An overview of the market environment (targeted customers, competition, ecosystem)
- The intended value proposition and market positioning
- The business objectives (market share or number of deals signed, geographic footprint extension, 3 and 5 year expected revenues & margin etc)
- The key resources that will be needed to deliver the objectives (financial and others)
- How the IP Solution will successfully be delivered (planning, go-to-market description, risk analysis…). |
